Gourmet restaurants

Provence is famous for style, cuisine and wines so put these three amazing talents together and we have a recipe for gourmet restaurants and in Provence they are plentiful.

Whether you want to dine outside with a sea view framed exquisitely by the azure sky or you would rather opt for indoor fine dining with elegant furnishings and pastel coloured walls the catering experience in Provence is delightful. Culinary masterpieces are one of the main themes in Provence.

Why dine out at a gourmet restaurant?

Some hotels have onsite catering facilities but if you want to sample Provençal cuisine in style, Provence's gourmet restaurants provide the perfect experience.

Provence is home to many fantastic chefs and fabulous restaurants well worth a visit. Top quality cuisine, beautiful views and friendly staff are all reasons why gourmet restaurants are so popular with visitors to the region.

Gourmet restaurant picks

Le Moulin de Vernègues is situated in Mallemort and overlooks a lush green park. Diners can sit outside in the shaded terrace at the foot of 300 year old sycamore trees or in one of the two large elegant dining rooms.

Le Chantecler is probably the classiest restaurant in Nice. The chef brings French country cuisine to life with seemingly magical creations. With black truffles, sun dried tomatoes and fresh picked vegetables on the menu, all served in spectacular surroundings, it's a pleasurable catering experience.
