International Festival of Lyric Art in Aix-en-Provence: every July.This is one of the most famous concerts held in Aix – it is an important Opera festival which was founded in 1948. Held in the Archbishop's Palace's court, the theatre pulsates with the sound of powerful operatic voices, while audiences marvel in the events under starry skies.

But the concerts don't stop there – from October to June each year, the Concerts in Aix Association runs a season of music as a follow-up to the festival. Everyone from children to seniors is catered for throughout these events, so the whole family can enjoy the concerts in Provence.

Côté Cour Festival in Aix-en-Provence: July every year. This festival is one of the events to uncover fresh talent in Provence, ranging from Jazz stars to world music. The Mediterranean climate of Aix means summer evenings have warm air filled with music from various venues hosting concerts in the city.
