When recycled paper and Caroline’s creativity meet, the most beautiful notebooks and gleefully colorful journals are born.

600 m2 (2,000 ft2). That’s the surface of the highly ecological building (equipped with solar panels and geothermal heating) that houses the company, Maki Nature. This business, based in Cheval-Blanc, just a few kilometers from Cavaillon, between Durance and the Luberon, was established ten years ago. When the young Caroline Giampaoli had the opportunity to develop it further four years ago, she didn’t hesitate for a moment before purchasing the company.
She buys big sheets of recycled paper, in every color and thickness, cuts them up
and puts them together according to her ideas or the requests of her clients, creating little notebooks, notepads, address books, and photo albums, and other stationary delights.
The range is vast and cheerful. Poetic and full of life, it pleases young and old alike. The whole family works in the workshop, helping make the objects or prepare the orders. Caroline advises clients that come to look for an original and unique gift, offers to customize a notebook, guestbook, exercise book, you name it. In her big store, you’ll want to buy
everything. Suddenly the beginning of the school year is synonymous with pleasure, and not just for the kids. Indulge in a beautiful photo album with an ochre cover, or a lavender notebook with velvety smooth pages to keep your vacation souvenirs… You’ll find yourself inspired by the creativity, and wanting to make things yourself! No problem, you can buy scraps of paper of all sizes and colors by weight, and even sign up for a workshop to learn how to make a scrapbook. You’ll want to come back very soon, to prepare your holiday cards, or to order personalized notebooks to give to your colleagues at the office.
