Stéphanie Rouman used to be Director of Legal Affairs for a big company. Passionate about design, one day she decided to quit everything and make her dream come true: open an interiors store. molded fiberglass shell is one of the stars of 20th century design. Over time, Stéphanie has become one of the major distributors in France of original models of this chair. "I work with two people who criss-cross the United States looking for vintage models. I even have pieces which date from the first edition in 1948, pieces for collectors, explains the enthusiast. In her store, the famous "Rocking Chair" comes in all the original catalog color and the prices range from 799 to 1,500 Euros for a collector's piece.

If Stéphanie particularly appreciates these mythic chairs, she is also on the lookout for a whole range of industrial furniture and vintage lights, like Jieldé lamps (3, 4 or 5 arms) and Gras-Ravel wall lights; she sells re-edited pieces by the brand Red Edition - dressers, sofas, rows with a Scandinavian look, and fifties style coffee tables. Atelier 159 quickly became the essential address for design fans in Marseille looking to create an authentic vintage décor. What's more, Stéphanie proposes her services as interior designer to assist her clients with the installation, and even distributes a whole range of bespoke products for those wanting a truly original interior.
