Discover the flavorful and colorful cuisine of the restaurant L’Arôme, hidden within one of the Luberon’s most beautiful hilltop villages.

Bonnieux is an impressive hilltop village, with such radical changes in altitude that two churches were built, one at the entry to the village, and another at the summit. You mustn’t be afraid of climbing, of taking narrow alleys winding around the ramparts to reach the square in front of the higher church; you’ll be rewarded for your efforts with a splendid panoramic view over the whole valley, and the Vaucluse and Ventoux mountains.

This discovery tour of Bonnieux can also become a gourmet promenade. Sit down on the terrace of the restaurant L’Arôme and let yourself be carried away by a whirlwind of flavors. Chef Jean-Michel Pagès and his team will treat you to a joyful and colorful cuisine, fresh and inventive, which marries to perfection sweet and savory, fresh herbs and spices. Don’t count on enjoying your duck breast with cherries in the middle of summer;

the fruit no longer being in season the meat will be accompanied by a delicious sauce of Provencal apricots. Fresh, seasonal produce from the region are the order of the day, cleverly combined and the results are there: attractive, colorful plates for the sweetest of cuisines. A very agreeable gourmet experience, in an equally charming setting: two elegant dining rooms with stone vaulted ceilings and magnificent light fittings and a verdant terrace

shaded by large umbrellas. Relaxation, a vacation atmosphere and pleasure for the taste buds are guaranteed.
