documents, we discover the interests of Saint-John Perse in typography, and his special affection for the typefaces Garamond and Grandjean. A magnificent edition of his collection “Amers” has pride of place, as will as lead punches and dyes used in its printing. We feel a little of the poet’s soul which probably flowed through the metal before striking the pages of his books.
