This cabinet of curiosity is playful and interactive, composed of a number of models. It allows each visitor to experiment new relationships with graphic materials and movement, borrowing juggling’s taste for games without rules, and curiosity and a taste for discovery from science.
Built around systems developed for the performing arts, these installations function like a crazy laboratory of all the experiments around motion synthesis and anamorphosis from the last 4 years. They explore digital movement, bringing us to question how, by plunging into space
(x y z) and time (t), an improbable universe can suddenly unfurl, at the frontiers of surrealism and early 20th-century kinetic art. They make us question our perception of reality, with in the background, the idea that the virtual is a magic instrument for constructing and visiting all possible worlds that remain to be imagined.
Halfway between a circus troupe and a team of computer hackers, the Compagnie Adrien M encourages a reflection on the motion and choreography of objects. For the exhibition (XYZT), for which the title is taken from mathematical language for describing movement from a point in space, they invite the visitor to take a trip between the real and virtual in order to release motion’s emotion and imagination.
Seconde Nature is a space dedicated to the artistic creation and cultural practices of our digital age. A permanent structure devoted to creation, production and distribution, Seconde Nature explores the interdisciplinary and hybrid nature of contemporary arts. Next up to invest and reinvent the entire scenography of the space is the Compagnie Adrien M with the exhibition (XYZT), on the frontier between arts and science.
