About Corsica

With sunsets that will melt your heart, miles of lush green forests sweeping across a rugged mountain range and fabulous vineyards the island of Corsica is an amazing place to visit.

Corsica: a hiker's paradise

If you love nothing more than a good trek with breathtaking scenery then bring your hiking boots to this island. The luscious green mountain ranges in Corsica are steep and challenging but the journey up will be picturesque and the view from the top of the azure sea surrounding the island will be one you will never forget.

The most difficult of the hikes in Corsica is the infamous GR20 and not a route the faint hearted will enjoy driving on.

Corsica: an unspoilt island

Nicknamed 'the mountain in the sea' because of its emerald green appearance and high altitude this island has been unspoilt by tourism. It still retains its natural heritage including numerous types of fauna, natural parks and nature reserves, green mountain lakes and wonderfully fresh air.

Maybe that is what attracts people to this tranquil and serene place that is the greenest in the Mediterranean. A visit to this region leaves you feeling refreshed.

Corsica is more rugged than other parts of France like Provence but it proves an experience unlike any other and at only a short flight away it's worth a visit.

In Corsica blossoms the Immortelle , used in cosmetics by L'Occitane en Provence.
